Not really sure how many people look at what is below their feet while they are in another place. While walking around Chatan Town I noticed the variety of manhole covers. I’m used to covers that just have a pattern on them and that’s it. The covers around Chatan were ornamental, pieces of art, that reflected the locale. If I hadn’t looked down I would have missed a rather enjoyable aspect of the Chatan area.
