Where no one cares

but me

My favorite empty industrial lot is starting to bloom, I couldn’t be happier! Most of these flowers are around 1 inch/2.5 cm, though some are quite healthy and almost the size of a ping-pong ball. Most are spherical, though some are growing more crown like, like this one. The lot in which these wild flowers/weeds, make your own preference, are, is still undeveloped. The area a few years back was much more wild, though surrounded by industry, but had been plowed under for more development. Gone are the trees and many of the deer, skunk, raccoons and even a coyote or two. I am happy to say that I am seeing more hawks which I thought were gone. Where nature is allowed to grow it will.
